This is yet another song by Fanny Crosby. I believe the only other one that I have posted is Hymn of the Day: Blessed Assurance. So, no need for me to repeat her story. But, it still fascinates me that she was blind when she wrote her beautiful hymns. Yesterday’s hymn can be found by clicking this link if you are interested: Hymn of the Day: The King of Love My Shepherd Is.

Today’s hymn, Pass Me Not, O Gentle Savior, is another well-known hymn. This morning’s Who Am I? post was all about how we are heard when we call out to God. Crosby’s hymn below is a reflection of the same idea. When we humbly call out to the Savior he will hear us. He will not pass us by. He cares for us. He comforts us. He sustains us.
