This really has nothing to do with the Who Am I? series. I truly am very busy. I have been invited to preach at another church tonight, so I am putting the finishing touches on my sermon. Really, I am doing more than putting the finishing touches on. So, due to my schedule today I will not put out long posts! Thus, what you see right here will probably be the longest post.

I would encourage you though if you have not read one of the Who Am I? posts yet go to this link to pick one that you haven’t read: Who Am I? Table of Contents. Otherwise, if you have read them all you can relax or pick one you really enjoyed and praise God for your identity.

I do not take busyness well. Really, it invites a lot of sin into my heart that I thought I had a handle on. But, Satan knows how to use my busyness to his advantage. Thankfully, I have a Great High Priest who can sympathize with my weaknesses for He Himself had the same issues, yet He did not sin! That will be the focus, Lord willing, of tomorrow’s Who Am I? post. Who Am I? I am heard. So, look forward to that tomorrow and be praying for me today that busyness will not conquer me, but God’s peace would instead.

“When we are crazy busy, we put our souls at risk. The challenge is not merely to make a few bad habits go away. The challenge is to not let our spiritual lives slip away.” – Kevin DeYoung, Crazy Busy

  1. May the peace of the Lord be with you, my friend. I too struggle with busyness and often multi tasking is not good for me. Yesterday I turned on the broiler rather than the oven in haste and could’ve burned down the house.
