I have chosen the modern chorus version of this hymn as the “hymn of the day.” But, this song is based on the hymn written by Henry Lyte, just with a slightly modern tune to it. Indelible Grace does a wonderful job making this hymn a little more memorable with their changes! Go to youtube and search it and I am sure you will have this song stuck in your head the rest of the day! Remember, the branch cannot bear fruit by itself, unless it abides in the vine, neither can you, unless you abide in me (John 15:4). Jesus is the vine, we are the branches. We will bear fruit if we abide in Him!
