2017 Reading list2017 Reading list page 2Here is my 2017 Reading List. I plan on reading each of these books throughout the year. I have fallen a little behind, but I will catch up. If this is a list you would like, go ahead and read them! Otherwise, I encourage you to make your own! Don’t feel obligated to read 52+ books in a year. Make a plan to fit your needs, time, and interests.

Most importantly, pick up a book and read.

  1. Can I make a couple of suggestions I have found really helpful, if you get a little ahead? The Hole in our Holiness by Kevin DeYoung and Evangelism and the Sovereignty of God by J I Packer. I have loads more, and I am going to review over on my blog. I chose a couple of shorter ones because you may be able to squeeze them in, and they are definitely worth the time.

  2. I will have to read them all first, but if you are in to Christian biographies I have to recommend anything by Iain H. Murray. He does a wonderful job on even the smallest details of someone’s life. A Praying life by Paul Miller is also an excellent read and very helpful for your prayer life as well.

  3. I love book lists, and I’ve only read about 5 on your list. I really liked #42, The Lost Letters of Pergamum. I read it for a intertestamental and intro to NT class. I don’t have specific reading lists ahead of time as I like more flexibility, but I will have a stack of books that have priority, etc.
